What materials are used for each color?
- Gold - Gold-filled wire, a thick layer of real gold permanently bonded to brass, offering the look and wear of gold at a more affordable price.
- Silver - Sterling silver wire, 92.5% pure silver, durable and classic.
Is gold-filled jewelry still real gold?
Yes! Gold-filled jewelry contains a genuine layer of gold, it is not plated. The gold layer is 50-100 times thicker than standard plating.
Are your pieces handmade?
Yes, 100%. Every product at Wild Wire West is handcrafted by bending one wire into your custom piece.
What is the difference between wire sizes?
Our wire sizes refer to the diameter (thickness) of the wire, measured in inches. The larger the number, the thicker and more durable the wire will be.
We offer several wire sizes depending on the style and intended use of each piece:
- 0.028 - Our finest wire, used exclusively for name hat pins and writing inside lariat items.
- Light (0.032) - Our lightweight option that offers a delicate appearance.
- Medium (0.040) - A popular choice that provides an excellent balance of strength and detail.
- Heavy (0.050) - The thickest wire we offer, creating a bolder look with maximum durability.
Will my jewelry tarnish?
No! Gold-filled wire is highly resistant to tarnish. Sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time but can easily be polished to restore its shine.
How do I clean and care for my jewelry?
Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth or a silver polishing cloth.
Can you make my brand?
Upload a photo of your brand and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
How are brand items priced?
The brand prices listed are calculated up to 3 characters. If there are more than 3, or complex symmetry such as diamonds or stars, there will be an additional charge.
How are name items priced?
The name prices listed are calculated for 3-8 characters. If there are more than 8, there will be an additional charge per character.
Shipping and Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Because each piece is handmade by one person, shipping times can vary. Most orders ship within 3-4 weeks, but wait times may be longer during periods of increased order volume.
Do you offer international shipping?
We currently ship within the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
Returns and Repairs
What is your return policy?
Because all items are custom made just for you, we are unable to accept returns on any items.
What if my jewelry arrives damaged?
We’re so sorry! Please contact us within 48 hours at wildwirewestjewelry@gmail.com with your order number, photos, and a brief description. We’ll review the issue and offer a repair or replacement if possible.
Can I resize or repair a piece later?
Yes, bracelet resizing and product repairs are available for a small fee. Reach out with details and photos for an estimate.
